In response to your suggestion of Beryl bikes yet again I don’t think this council have thought it through and I wonder how many of you actually walk around Rickmansworth.
I was nearly knocked over this morning by a very young girl going very fast on a scooter as I turned the corner by “The White Bear”on the Harefield road,her father was way behind and chose to ignore the incident.
I am in my late 70s don’t drive so walk everywhere,,I have to close neighbours with serious visual impairment and I fear for them as I have no doubt they will be abandoned on pavements causing a danger to pedestrians.
My sister in law lives in Newham East London and bikes are constantly abandoned across the gate to her house she is 82 in the early stages of dementia and I see how much anxiety they have caused her.
For once get out of your ivory towers and out of your cars and walk the streets and see for yourself the problems for pedestrians.
